Andrea Bowen and Corbin Bleu snap a pic together as they serve up some home cooked Thanksgiving meals to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission and Anne Douglas Center on Wednesday afternoon

The duo joined forces with Kirk Douglas, Stephanie Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Olesya Rulin and Kayla Ewell, among others, to spread the holiday cheer.

Andie tweeted her wishes for the holidays, “Because of the current state of our economy there are more people than ever finding themselves without a home or place to go, Los Angeles has the highest homelessness rate in the entire country, and now is a great time to make a monetary donation, but I also highly recommend donating your time to go volunteer, especially this time of year! Every little bit can mean a huge difference to someone’s life, and spirit.”

She also added: “If anyone wants to donate to the LA mission, text the word “meals” to 40579. A five dollar donation will be made immediately.

I know that I texted meals, and I think that it’s a great way to even start getting involved. I hope that you all have a Happy Thanksgivings and remember that there are those less fortunate during the holidays and that we should try and help out in any way possible.
