Join the World Habitat Day Photo Wall! What Will You Build?

For the second year, Habitat for Humanity is collecting photos to send to leaders in Washington, D.C., to persuade them that adequate housing for all should be a priority. Take a stand this World Habitat Day and add your photo to the World Habitat Day Photo Wall.
Last year, the 2009 World Habitat Day photo petition received more than 1,400 photos from dedicated advocates. This year, we hope to collect more than 3,000 photos from Habitat supporters from around the world.
This year, along with Desperate Housewives star Emily Bergl, Desperatefans.org will be participating in the World Habitat Day Photo Wall. All it takes is five minutes to show your support. To get started, head over to the Photo Wall. We’ll be adding our photo to the wall, will you?

Voto Latino’s new United We Win campaign has released a new PSA encouraging people to register and vote. The PSA features Rosario Dawson, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, Blair Underwood, Amy Smart, “La Princesa” Madison De La Garza, Wilmer Valderrama, Trevor Ariza from the Houston Rockets, Common, Lisa Vidal, Carla Gugino, and others.
United We Win is a public awareness, education, and mobilization campaign around the 2010 mid-term elections. The campaign features grassroots voter registration, and the celebrity voices of Common, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Eva Longoria Parker and others uniting for America.
United We Win is a campaign about the American future. We have one main message = Latino issues are American issues, and American issues are Latino issues.

Celebs Stand Up to Cancer: Sept 10th @ 8 pm

Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Lynch, Eva Longoria Parker and a slew of celebs are encouraging people to Stand Up To Cancer!
In a new promotional spot for a live television event benefiting cancer research, TV and film’s brightest stars share their personal connections with the disease.
Stand Up To Cancer will return to primetime TV on September 10, 2010, at 8PM EST & PST / 7PM CT. The one-hour fundraising event will be simulcast live and commercial-free on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Bio, Discovery Health, E!, G4, HBO, HBO Latino, MLB Network, mun2, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, The Style Network, TV One, and VH1.
Our cast involved with Stand Up To Cancer include Eva Longoria Parker, Vanessa Williams, Marcia Cross, Dana Delany, Teri Hatcher, and James Denton
