It looks like our favorite teenager is returning to Wisteria Lane! Andrea Bowen returns to Desperate Housewives on January 9th and you’ve heard it here first. We’ve got the stills and it looks like Julie has gone back to her blond roots and is going to see her mom after last Sunday’s rioting 2010 finale. Andrea has been super quiet lately but with her new movie Preacher’s Daughter and now this latest episode, it looks like we’ll still have a lot of her on our screens in the next while.

Brian Austin Green hadn’t even met Marcia Cross, who he would be carrying on a passionate on-screen love affair with, until after he was booked on “Desperate Housewives.”

“We didn’t test at all,” Green tells Zap2it. “I had never met her until I had booked the show. I got really lucky. I have to assume, because [creator Marc Cherry] knows Marcia as well as he does that in meeting me, he had some sense of what would work best with her.”

And Green says the two get on pretty fantastically. “We enjoy really being around each other,” he says. “We laugh and we talk. It’s a really great relationship to have on the set. It was a complete coincidence. It’s absolute luck, because it doesn’t happen all the time.”

Green is definitely feeling pretty lucky these days. After a decade long stint on the original “Beverly Hills, 90210″ and most recently two short seasons on FOX’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” the actor is feeling good about his guest stint on Wisteria Lane.
