As some of you may know, and others don’t but you will now, in Spain we celebrate on 28th December the same as in April’s Fool and so many jokes are told. This year, there’s been a joke about Dana Delany aka Katherine Mayfair leaving the show after the 6th season. To make this happen, during the 6th season finale, we’d see Katherine moving to Maryland to live with Dylan, Bradley and their son. Of course, the casting for Bradley and the kid had to be done. Also, there were some ‘declarations’ from the ladies about how sad they were to see Dana go, that they wished her the best or that she’d be missed, and even from Dana saying she’d miss the show yet she loved the idea of getting her own show.

This joke went to the point of even giving an airing day, Wednesdays after Modern Family, and even saying ABC had announced this spin off during the holidays when we all know announcements for shows starting next Fall are made between May and June, especially during the upfronts where all the lists of new and renewed shows are published. As well, two sources were given for this piece of news, Entertaintment Weekly and Tv Guide, and in neither of them is a word about this spin off. Two articles were pusblished naming both magazines as source but not linking back anywhere which was already suspicious, and more considering the day it is.

Again, this was just a joke which has been spreading around and even some people believed it, but here we are to clarify this is not true. We hope those of you in Spain like me and Caro had a good day, and those of you who believed this made up story, we’re sorry and we like say in my country… ¡Inocente!

Looks like Tony and Eva Longoria Parker are ditching wintry days for “Summer Nights!”

With shiny wigs and cheeky choreography, the Desperate Housewives star and the San Antonio Spur channel Grease‘s Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson in a new video spoof posted on the NBA player’s website.

“It’s Eva’s favorite film,” Parker says in video, also posted on his Web site, of the 1978 musical starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

But fandom isn’t the only reason the two decided to tackle the iconic song and dance. In the video, the basketball star explains that he and his wife have a challenge for their fans. “I’ve decided to play a game with you,” he says, inviting viewers to submit similar parody videos of musical comedies – in full costume. Says Parker: “Now it’s your turn.”

Longoria Parker and her hubby will watch the entries – which are due on Jan. 31 – and pick a winner whom they’ll fly to San Antonio, Texas, to catch Parker in action with the Spurs.
