The nominees for the 63rd annual Golden Globe Awards were announced in California this morning -- and there is great news for all us Desperate Housewives fans! All four leading ladies have been nominated for Best Actress in a television comedy, including Eva Longoria who was snubbed last year! A big congratulations to her! Along with the four best actress nominations, Desperate Housewives has been nominated for best television comedy. Felicity Huffman has also scored one more nominated for her role in Transamerica, receiving a nomination for Best Actress in a motion picture drama. Who are the ladies up against? Denton To Host 2006 Miss America Pageant

James Denton has signed on to host the 2006 Miss American Pageant live from fabulous Las Vegas, according to an article in the Pratt Tribune. The show will be broadcast from the Aladdin Resort & Casino and air at 7pm on January 21st, 2006 on CMT, but what may be even better news for Denton's fans is that, according to Paul Villadolid of CMT, the actor has also agreed to a developmental deal effective now. Villadolid says, "Moreover, James has a deep understanding of the CMT audience. So the opportunity to develop original shows with James as a producer is a great bonus for us."
Huffman Talks About Her Battle with Bulimia

In a recent interview with USA Today,
Felicity Huffman has revealed that, as a young woman in her late
teens to early twenties, she was anorexic and bulimic. "As an
actress, I was never thin enough, never pretty enough. My boobs
weren't big enough,” she recalls. "I was throwing up all the
time — figuring out what foods you can throw up and what foods you
can't." Her weight dropped to 98 pounds and she began to see a
therapist about her problem. So how does she feel about herself now?
"I think I've always had a 40-year-old body, and now that I'm
actually there I'm like, 'Hey, pretty good, huh?' "
