Joshua Moore

Parker Scavo on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives”

Originally from Texas, Joshua Moore began performing at an early age, including student film projects with the University of Texas, as well as Austin Film School.

Known for his stand-up comedy performances, in 2005 Moore won Austin’s Funniest Kid at Cap City Comedy Club for ages 9-12, as well as first runner up to the winner for all age groups. After arriving in L.A in 2007, he performed at the Hollywood IMPROV with a teen comedy group.

Theatre performances began for Moore at age six. He had the honor of starring in Ray Bradbury’s “Dandelion Wine” at the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena in 2007. Another highlight for him as an actor was the opportunity he had to work with legendary actor/director Clint Eastwood in the film “Changeling.”

Sports, video games, music and movies are some of Moore’s favorite things. Reading, writing and art are also favorite activities of this honor student.

Charitable causes are something that Joshua has always supported, and he hopes to become even more involved in certain causes as he becomes more successful.
