I’ve finally uploaded all the events Kyle has attended this year. Including pictures with ex-castmember Dougray Scott and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist Dinner celebrated yesterday October 30.

Our very own Josh Henderson was in last night CSI: Crime Scene Investigation playing Calvin Crook.

You can check the screencaptures on the gallery, but if you’re planning on watching the episode soon I warn you they’re quite spoilery.

Desperate Housewives: Marc Cherry has extended his contract with ABC Studios for another two years, which could keep Desperate Housewives on the air through at least 2013. Of course the big question is whether the cast’s main players—Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross—will want to go that long. They’re currently only committed through the 2010-2013 season. And let’s face it, with all the natural disasters on Wisteria Lane (tornadoes, planes falling out of the sky), it’d be a bloody miracle if anyone survived that long.

Thanks to Meaghan for the heads up

Actor RICARDO CHAVIRA is stepping up his breast cancer awareness campaign - he is the new ambassador for a healthcare charity.

The Desperate Housewives star’s life has been blighted by the disease - he lost his mother to the illness when he was 15, and just last year (08), both of his sisters were treated for breast cancer.

Chavira has long put his name to charitable causes and now he’s accepted a role as spokesperson for support network Wellness Community’s C.A.R.E. (Cancer Advocate Resources and Education) campaign.

He tells InTouch Weekly, “Cancer is not just a tumour that affects the person that it’s growing inside. It affects everyone around them, specifically their family members. There is a lot of stress there because we’re constantly making sure that this person that we love is being taken care of and doing well but lose track of that for ourselves.

“There’s a workshop series called Caring and Coping available at any of the centres. And they’ve got an extensive website with a slew of resources and a lot of informational literature. Here we are at a time in our country where health care is a huge topic and this organization is trying to tackle it with a fresh perspective.”

Swine flu has spread to Wisteria Lane! Desperate Housewive is on swine flu alert after star Teri Hatcher informed the show this morning that she was diagnosed with the fastly-spreading H1N1 virus.

The timing couldn’t be worse as the top-rated ABC series is plotting out their big neighborhood Christmas party stunt, which will feature the entire cast congregating as a small commuter plane crashes their festivities, taking lives. Already, scenes with all the women have had to be rescheduled while Hatcher recovers.

As a friend of Teri, I can say she must be devastated. A pro, she never misses work, keeps herself in great health and lives for Halloween, when she entertains all the neighborhood children in her home, which she transforms each year into an elaborate haunted house. Get well, kiddo!

In name of all DFO, we wish Teri a fast and full recovery!

UPDATE

After Desperate Housewives producers were informed earlier today that Teri Hatcher has come down with the Swine Flu, they received word that further testing revealed it was simply a more common strain of influenza. Production on the series will continue, and Hatcher is expected to return to the set on Monday.

“Teri does not have swine flu, nor did she at any time suspect that she did,” says Hatcher’s rep. “She is sick and has laryngitis, but has already finished her work for the week and is not scheduled to work again until next week.”
